The first Absenteeism Barometer carried out in 2022, the result of analyses by Verlingue’s actuaries and statisticians, enabled us to establish an unprecedented diagnosis in terms of the scale and scope of the indicators proposed. This second edition extends and completes the initial work. Year on year, absenteeism is on the increase and disrupting organisations. All companies are affected, whatever their size or sector of activity. It is one of the major challenges facing all managers.

This second barometer offers a wide range of indicators for a comprehensive analysis of the situation of the panel studied.

The average absenteeism rate for the first half of 2022 is 6.8%, up 20% on 2021.

Absenteeism has a direct impact on the human and operational performance of companies: direct and indirect costs through the disorganisation of teams, the cost of replacements, and a negative impact on both productivity and the employer brand.

Controlling absenteeism is a major challenge for all companies.
Identifying the causes of absenteeism is the best way to determine which preventive measures to deploy.
To meet these challenges, VERLINGUE has all the resources needed to help HR departments diagnose and implement appropriate and effective preventive measures.
