As part of its Better Future 28 strategy, the Adelaïde Group is taking a new step forward with the launch of its corporate university, whose development will be guided by an independent Scientific Committee. This committee, co-chaired by Pierre-Charles Pradier and Jacques Verlingue, aims to make Adelaïde University a major driver of training, innovation, and sustainable performance.

A university designed for employees and the Group’s strategic vision

With consolidated revenue of €450 million in 2024, up 12.5% on the previous year, and international business accounting for 26% of its revenue, the Adelaïde group is pursuing its ambition to become Europe’s leading independent family-owned broker.

This development is based on organic growth reinforced by targeted acquisitions (10 transactions in France and Europe since 2015) and a cultural transformation focused on skills development. It is in this context that Adelaïde University was designed to support the Group’s 3,000 employees in their professional development.

The university is structured around six thematic faculties: Business, Data/Finance/Actuarial Science, Management and Humanities, Social Protection, Business Risk, and Technology. Each faculty is headed by a duo consisting of an academic director and a member of the Executive Committee, ensuring alignment between business challenges and strategic objectives. Industry experts will enrich this governance structure to ensure the relevance of content and its operational relevance.

Benjamin Verlingue

Chief Executive Officer of the Adelaïde Group

“Adelaïde University is much more than a training center: it is a collective project for learning and transformation. It embodies our vision of a learning, agile, and responsible company, where every employee finds the means to grow and contribute to the Group’s performance.”

A Scientific Committee at the heart of educational excellence

The Scientific Committee, co-chaired by Pierre-Charles Pradier (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University) and Jacques Verlingue (Chairman of the Adelaïde Group Strategic Committee), brings together leading figures from the academic, economic, and entrepreneurial worlds. It ensures the quality of content, pedagogical innovation, and scientific rigor.

Its missions include:

  • defining educational guidelines,
  • validating training and research programs,
  • supporting innovation and experimentation,
  • developing academic and professional partnerships,
  • supervising internal and external certifications,
  • and promoting professional expertise within the Group.

“Adelaide University believes that knowledge, when shared, becomes a common good. By recognizing expertise and promoting research, we anchor the Group’s performance in shared, evolving intelligence.”

A gradual increase in power

The launch of the Scientific Committee marks the beginning of a structured rollout for the university. By 2026, the faculty roadmaps will be finalized, the first certification programs will be implemented, and industry experts will be mobilized to co-develop training programs tailored to the needs of the field.

In 2024, 68,300 hours of training were provided on 1,200 topics, involving 2,300 employees, 20 of whom obtained certification. The goal is to have 15% of employees certified by 2028.
